Why are peeps from the NE so grumpy?

Talking about my renters.... they seem like they're always pissed off and unhappy. Not so much the motorcycle renters, but the Slingshot and e-bike renters. They also are pretty much helpless and want everything done for them. Night and day difference from people in the midwest and western US. Is it the weather or the fact that everyone is living on top of one another? Maybe the obscene taxation? Crappy food?

Who the fuck are you calling Grumpy?

Nailed it
My woman thinks they show up in my mountain town and view people that live here as "village" people. Rednecks. Or whatever.

Those types definitely like the security of an imagined caste system. The doorman, maintenance guy, the dry cleaner, the shoe cobbler, the valet, the salon gal, the uber driver, etc... all servants to their existence not viewed as human beings.

Do you wear your biker outfit with the Freddy Mercury stache when you rent to them while singing YMCA? :D
I was going to make a YMCA joke and figured I should read the rest of the thread first!!

Ma Man….ya didn’t let me down!!

I’m originally from the NE and I’m not grumpy. :D

really, the grumps are from NY around the city, parts of jersey (around Philly, Newark and Paterson), most of Connecticut and Boston (the real Bostonites, not the fake ass ones). PA (except for Philly) is rednecks.

ny, nj people suck anywhere they go. They along with Massholes come here to SE PA all summer for the amish and are always miserable , and rude. Unfortunately the tourism season seems to not end as more and more of them are moving here. I'd love to move to MT but all the LA folks made it unaffordable.

Not just that part of PA but most of it.

but luckily they usually last 3 years tops before reality kicks them in their chopped cheese and they go back. :D

Where in SE PA are you?

I live in the "Alabamiest" part of PA. I chuckle when the NJ folks buy a so-called cabin here for cheap thinking they've struck gold compared to prices back home. They last maybe six months until they get tired of driving 40 miles just to get to a cracker barrel. What, the local grocery store (it's not a supermarket) doesn't have arugula!!! :D
