    All Knowing Beeb:

Gonna be in Indianapolis Wednesday-Thursday this week. Anyone have any recommendations on good/cool/unique places to grab dinner?

Going to a Fever game Wednesday night so downtown area is where we’ll be.

You have to make a reservation at St Elmos, open 4-10 daily. Get the Tom A Hawk Ribeye....thank us later, bring lots of cash.

A great option, but I think the OP is looking for 5 pm before the night starts. Not 5 am at the nights end.

The Eagles Nest on top of the Hyatt downtown is a pretty cool restaurant. It rotates and has a 360 degree view of the city.

Or go one hour south and get a tenderloin at the Edinburg Diner..... IMG_7522.jpg

Ok. So downtown eats, here you go:

$$$$ - St. Elmo's, Oceannaire Seafood Room, Capital Grill, Prime 47, Hyde Park. I'll thrown in the Eagle's Nest just because it's a neat venue. It sits atop the hotel and rotates so you get a panoramic view of the city. Food is good but not as good as the others.

$$$ - Fogo de Chao, Harry & Izzy's, Mesh, Salt on Mass. There's quite a few in this price range and you can't go wrong.

    $$ - The Rathskellar, Spoke & Steele, District Tap, Pier 48, Shapiro's

There's some really great options and downtown has a really great vibe. The expensive places will book fast on Thursdays. I take customers and visitors out quite often to those locations. If you are willing to venture out further, PM me as I'm not traveling this week and I can help you out.

FYI - If you are flying out on Friday AM, stop at the Shapiro's in the Indy airport (Bravo Terminal) on your way out. Great breakfast sandwiches.

Before you eat at St. Elmos (or Harry & Izzy's), go to the 1933 Lounge (upstairs within St Elmos) first for great Bourbon or a cocktail. Second the shrimp and steaks suggested
