Ducati 1199S left fork is leaking... probably time for a full service on both. Whats the going rate for a street bike fork service these days? (deliver the forks off the bike) And, by who - in NW Atlanta...

Call Kent @GMD… way too many variables just to get an estimate.. is the seal bad or leg scored? Are the forks set up right for you as well as the riding? Kent knows his shit and is very fair price wise IMO… I let him do all of my bikes..He is in Fairmount GA too…Just outside of Jasper…

If you take the forks off the bike, I'd say a couple hundred bucks will get new oil, seals, and bushings.

I'd second Kent up in Fairmount at GMDATL. He's set up all my bikes and they have all just flat out worked. He will treat you right.

Is Traxxion closed? They used to be like 15 min from him.

How do you not know about Traxxion Dynamics or GMD?

I used Thermosman in the past for my race bikes - its been a LONG time since I needed a service I couldn't do on my own. GMD assisted with my R6 back in the day too, so familiar with them. Also, trying to get a price for general budgeting purposes...

Thanks everyone, I'll hit up Kent Tuesday.

I recently used Thermosman and had a quick turn around for fork/shock service

Off the bike I charge 225 to service the fork. That’s seals, bushingd, general cleaning and removal of cartridge for inspection. The cost of parts is usually another $120-150 if you’re using high quality SKF or NOK stuff.

If I’m brought a bike, add about $100 to that figure.

Thanks for the info! Is that $225 per leg or for the pair?

$225 off the bike is what I charge as well (both forks). That actually hasn't changed for a few years.

The pair. Honestly, for the time it takes to do a thorough job and the few tools/chemicals required it isn't enough. But I think it's one of those services that just hasn't kept up with inflation. Or maybe I'm just shorting myself
