Just realized the Tygon resevoir line on my clutch side Magura MC is sweating. Any suggestions as far as clear lines that will work with this shit fluid?
Maybe you should ask for fluid that works with shit tubing? Never seen an OEM line sweat, but they are not clear. Hmmm. Now that I think about it, why would a clear line matter? Don't we have enough to pay attention to on the track? I have never met a guy that pulled over in a race cause they had bubbles in clear brake line but they still had brakes.... Mineral oil??? This isn't mountain bikes...

I wasn't looking for fluid suggestions, you can't change fluid without changing the slave cylinder and MC. I'm asking about a compatible reservoir line. I think it's pretty obvious. Figure out what fluid you are using. Tygon isn't stock for a reason. When a troll asks a simple question don't over think it and edit your original post to hide that you didn't form a complete question in the first place. What is "shit fluid"? I won't troll that. Lol. Last time I saw mineral oil was in a customers cbr600rr motor. I'm sure you can figure out what happened even after I changed/flushed the oil. If you get it next to the crisco, it doesn't belong in your motorbike. Even if it's some weirdo Austrian thing. I would be changing that out real fast.
There is a shit ton of different tygon tubing's so knowing which it is will be of great help. Its some pretty versatile stuff.

As noted above^^. There are a few different types of Tygon tubing and most MC applications involve fuel or brake fluid which is probably what the tubing you have was designed for but which is incompatible with mineral oil. Use the chart above provided by Mr. Spitz.

So little billy goat... What fluid are you using so the 'beeb" can make a decision for you? FYI we need a specific brand and type of fluid. The US specification for brake fluids (FMVSS116) does not dictate any chemical composition just the resultant properties for the solution for each specification level. If "beer" works for boiling points then any Tygon is excellent (Clearly I need to drink more instead of posting here). FYI fluids used in bicycle applications are unregulated (with the exception of those that spec DOT fluids of course) and are all largely labeled "mineral oil". They might have no relationship to that general fluid that is widely available as most are "proprietary" to the manufacturer. Don't cross brand here, you will be sorry. Your best bet is to look up the MSDS for whatever specific fluid you are using and select a tubing that will work with it specifically. There is no such thing as "generic" or "shitty" brake fluid specifications. Troll out for a vacation... bridges suck.
