It sucks trying to determine when gates will open/close for any track. That should post with the schedule, IMHO. I want to race this weekend at Barber, but have no idea when I can arrive to do so. When you post race schedules, post gate times for the track. Novices such as myself don't know S@it, except this should be done better.
Almost every time a racing organization has sent out a gate open/close time, the track ends up having different plans in my experience. Calling the track yourself is your best bet.
I think the gate is 24/7 at Barber? Its the credentials (wrist band) you need to worry about getting on time.... Tally still locks the gates at 10pm?
I know it came off as whining, but I'm trying to make a last minute plan to get there, and couldn't get info. The reply I got this morning says credentials opens at 4pm, and paddock opens at 5:30-6:00pm. When does credentials close was my next question, awaiting reply.
