I'd be pissed if I was Piastri. Leading the championship and have to give up a place with minimal laps left to your closet rival. That's some BS right there. think Lando would have done it for Piastri? I don't think so.

Norris let Piastri pit first so he could stay ahead of Leclerc. Since Norris was in the lead, he decided to be a good teammate and allow Piastri to pit before him. As a result, I think it was only fair that Piastri gave that position back.

They also mentioned Hungary in reverse a couple times. Don’t recall the details, but I think Lando DID give the position back. Of course neither one of them were thrilled. I think if Max hadn’t been so far ahead it would have been ON.

In the Hungarian Grand Prix, when McLaren asked Norris to give the position back, it was for the victory. Piastri finished first, and Norris finished second. Ar first, Norris did not want to , but on lap 68 of 70, he let Piastri take the lead
 
Yep, that’s it. I liked how Piastri’s team got on the comms with the you’re doing the right thing and so on, only to be met with deafening silence. Hey, I’m doing it, but I don’t have to like it, and I DAMN SURE DON’T HAVE TO TALK TO YOU RIGHT NOW WHILE I’M DRIVING A FORMULA 1 CAR. :)

Oh, wow! I had not noticed Verstappen way down there on the Autosport list. I would not have posted it if I had. That's definitely wrong data. Hell, if I read comments on X, I'm sure I would have seen someone pointing it out.

I said exactly that to my friend when they made the swap.
 
So on lap 1 Verstappen complained that Norris eased off the brakes to beat him to the apex. I was just looking at the telemetry, which driver do you think completely let off the brake prior to turn in? :D

You'd think there's championship points for whining with how much they complain.

Norris is fighting for the championship this year, so he’s got way more to lose than Max. Max gave the spot back and Norris was able to keep racing instead of ending up stuck in the gravel.

There was no way Norris and Max would have made it through Turn 1, Norris went really deep. Had Max not went off track, Norris would have speared him and ended the race for both of them.
