The Formula One Thread

True on all counts of beer, chocolate, and fries. Liked the Belgium beer better than the German beer. Out first night in Belgium the waiter said they serve Belgium fries, not French fries, and we took a chocolate making class in Antwerp.

Best bottled water.

It took 1.5 hours to get from the hotel to the parking lot. Then it took another hour to find our place, because no one seemed to know where the championship club section was, and we got sent back and forth a couple times.

Having fun now.
Traffic does suck. We stayed late after the race and just listened to the music instead of fighting our way thru traffic. If you get a chance go to Palmeres in Spa. Incredible restaurant with all kinds of memorabilia like a Lamborghini V12 under glass when you walk in the front door, a car on the wall and all sorts of helmets, driving suits and photos.

Both Haas in the top 10 and Sainz 6th in the Williams. Love to see that while Mercedes and Ferrari struggle. Is there still a second Red Bull car out there lol?

At the end of the day we got to ride on one of those stand up trailers and tour the entire track. Man there is a lot of elevation at this track. Tyler said it reminded him of Road America.

@Yzasserina we stopped to take pictures at the start line with a trophy, and I tried to go down and get a shot of Alonso’s pit for you, but they wouldn’t let me down that far.

What a cluster. We’ve been on the bus for 1.5 hrs and the driver got lost missed a turn and it looks like we are having to back track and are still an hour away. I don’t recommend F1 Experiences.

Looks like we are missing F3 and probably F2 now as well.
