way back in qualifying that is. http://superbikeplanet.com/2007/Jul/e/n070714b.htm . Not hating on him just sucks to see him back so far.
Now thats just wrong i by all means am not bashing the man he has more skill on a bike than i could ever dream of.
Didnt hurt Him last week. There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside" There goes Nicky" Round the Outside" " Round the Outside"
His fastest lap was only about 7/10ths of a second off the qualifying time of the pole-sitter! That's not slow. It just shows how competitive the field is.
I thought he got the new chassis he wanted a couple of races ago and was happy as a pig in sh&t. I was waiting for the comeback that everyone was talking about. What happened?
That's true, he's not on the same pace as last round. Last round he qualified 13th, at more than two seconds off the Q lap of the pole-sitter.
he has too much competition on front of him to overcome to ever win another race this year. close qualifying times like those just mean its a LOT more to overcome to get to the front ,and if ya mess up your done . im not hating ,i just think he's outclassed this year and will be even worse next year with more younguns coming in . qualifying times and pole havent meant jack sqaut this year as far as the outcome so who knows .I think stoner deserves to win it all this year .Id like to see rossi take it ,but Stoner deserves it . dammit KAWi win some races ya bastids !!!!!! if they go back to a 500cc bike ,all the baby 250 guys will dominate ,of course they should start giving them pink polkadot shirts, and those funny puffy pants like actual JOCKEYS wear
You have it exactly bass-ackwards. It took a real man to ride a 500cc GP bike. The 4-strokes are the (comparatively) sissified machines.
And he did it on race tires too. He was cursed this weekend, electrical problems on his #1 bike on Friday, then he blows an engine at the end of the session. Checa runs across the track in front of him during qualifying, hell with all that going on I think he did pretty good.
sure a 2 stroke 500 was a monster and a handfull ,but now you have tame tiny 600 size bikes not much bigger than a 250,so the 250 guys have the advantage .look at the 250 guys in GP now ,its much better suited to them ,imagine a slower 500 4 stroke you would need that corner speed experience to make it work . Of course im sure the day they make a 500cc4stroke it will be prob just as fast as a 990 was .lol
Nicky's hottest Q tire lap was fooked by a moron running across the track, cutting him off. His actual qualifying time came on a race tire. A race tire, not a Q like everyone else.
hasnt meant anything all year .neither has Pole.ONce they get to the first corner its all jumbled up anyway. BTW the curse still stands.:tut: lol
Remember when there were 2 or maybe 3 guys in the world that could ride a 500 balls to the wall??? Nowadays the electronics have neutered the bikes, bring back a pre big bang 500 and watch the current crop of riders pee themselves. Except Rossi.
Once again you prove you know nothing and put your foot in your mouth. Nicky comes from 14th on the grid and finishes on the box. Ahead of Edwards and Hopper too, I might add. When Nicky wins Laguna next week, what will you call him? One-trick pony? Toolbag.
`ummm show me where i put my fot in my mouth .he is the "current champion " hes still not in the top 5 and hes got on the back of the box twice in how many races ? Big deal ..why do you think i know nothing ? i said he wouldnt win a race and he hasnt ,so proove to me where ive been wrong please. So far he has been a one trick pony ,you need to defend the championship to be a champion .Stop riding his nuts it makes you look desperate. would you like to wager on that laguna win ? the wager is a new thread and you have to admit you were wrong and i was right and vice-versa . if he doesnt get in the top 5 at the end of the year ,yes that makes him the buster douglas of GP .good luck with that 1 Casey Stoner Ducati Marlboro Team Ducati GP7 196 2 Valentino Rossi Fiat Yamaha Team Yamaha M1 164 3 Dani Pedrosa Repsol Honda Team Honda RC212V 144 4 John Hopkins Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Suzuki GSV-R800 103 5 Marco Melandri Honda Gresini Honda RC212V 97 6 Chris Vermeulen Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Suzuki GSV-R800 93 7 Colin Edwards Fiat Yamaha Team Yamaha M1 88 8 Loris Capirossi Ducati Marlboro Team Ducati GP7 77 9 Nicky Hayden Repsol Honda Team Honda RC212V 73 10 Alex Barros Pramac D'Antin Ducati GP7 69 why do people take the internet comments so damn serious ????? lighten the fuk up already
