dude i think i saw you but there were 2 blue R1's there, and i wasnt sure which one was you. Marc, thanx for the tow and showing me a couple of lines where i was off, it really helped out!! had a great time as usual!
there was another blue one, he was in Int. I pitted next to him, nice guy. I run A, was trying Dunlop's for the first time Sun. wow!
I think you may be the R1 that I tailed on sunday. We almost touched up in the chicane. You got me in the chicane after I blew it sideways going in you were on my outside in the middle of the chicane. I re-grouped after almost touching your rear tire there and followed you for several laps. I was on the all blue GSXR600, yellow plates. I chuckled in my helmet once when we both came flying through the in field 90, you were shaking your head as we were about over take about 5 slower riders 4 wide. I tightened up my line so much I momentarily tucked the front saving it with my knee. You gapped me pretty good once we got on that back straight. I was on a roasted out michelin rear that I destroyed cold on saturday. I packed up and left after that session, long drive home in one piece. You were rolling good. My wife clocked me a few times in the high minute range, my best ever there since 2001. Thanks for the Tow!! I enjoyed it.
outstanding, I hope my rear camera was catching the action. I remember the grop we caught. they were having fun, that's what counts. MS, that was a long drive home!
I had Jake's and Jerod's best times at 59.2 We were trying the Michelins for the first time and it took awhile to get used to them coming off the Dunlop GPs. He was also riding an '09 R6 for the first time with stock suspension as well. Jake pretty much matched his best TD times there, though his race times are about 1.5 seconds faster. Again, we had an absolute blast! Tdub
I believe Jerod was on Dunlop. Jake was just trying some different options for next year. The Michelins definately worked well according to the lap times, but he will have to "adjust" to get confident. He said they actually had better grip on corner exit. We are going to put some more laps on them at CMP in a few weeks. Ekraft, I know it was a TD, but it was more of a test day for us to just try some different stuff...and what better gauge than the watch. Tdub
I want to do the http://www.racingadventure.com/, but dont know which company to pick anyone have any ideas?
