No idea on the newest ones but I think most will agree when it comes time to break it down for track duty they make the easiest bikes to work on. Suzuki actually thinks ahead that someday some guy might want to remove the bodywork or swap the rearsets or take the front end or subframe off. They make all that shitte super easy and straightforward.
From the reviews I've read, the '27 bike is the same platform (frame, suspension, brakes, wheels, etc) as the '17 bike w/ revised engine internals, electronics suite updates (added 6 axis IMU) and winglets ( because aero!!!).
One of the reviews did call out the shift star being a failure point in these bikes, but I don't know if it is a big enough deal to address right out of the box.
Unless things have changed a lot, I would wait for the 41st anniversary.![]()
