I've been trading for the last 5 years. What I've learned is; I'm no good at this and have little to no more understanding of it than I did on day one.
I have no idea how the DOW can be at 14 plus. I understand that it lives 6 or 9 months in the future, but I can tell you my business is NOTHING like it was when the DOW was at 14 last. Most in my field and location are in the same shape or worse. I can't see 6 months changing that.
+1
I don't get it. I put my personal brokerage account and my 401k completely in cash at DOW 13.7. It makes absolutely zero sense to me the levels that things are trading at, given the state of the economy. I'm tempted to dump cash back in the market, but my gut just hasn't let me yet. In my fantasy world I'd have a summer buyback in the DOW 12.5 range.
Whoosh...

I've got so much money that I don't care.
Me, too.
Ditto.
Bought HOG a decade or three ago. Held it about a year then sold it for enough profit to build my next race bike.I always wondered who buys HOG. I havent done the research to see how good or bad a stock it is. (it seems good) I have always been scared of automotive stocks in general. How has it worked out for you?![]()

Got in at 9 when the bubble popped .HOG has not been very good for me. I am waiting to get back to a break even price after a number of years.
I've got some chicken stock and some turkey stock, both in the freezer.
