Since 2018 that Duramax Allison you bought, really was a GM transmission

LBZ does not have injector problem. Ford and Dodge of that age drive like shit compare to it.

Mine was the LB7 01-04, I had to google, the LBZ, which is 06-07. My best friend bought the LLY new, which is the one after mine 04-06, and no injector problems either.

He asked me a couple years ago if i wanted to buy it, and i said possibly tell me what you want? I did notice he switched it to montana plates within the past year, so maybe he is holding on to it?

Ironically, the new one is sitting in my yard waiting for me to swap some plates on it. It still has a Montana plate from my friend that I got it from. I paid a premium for it, since it still looks and drives like new. After all is said and done, $20k ish. It lived in a garage in AZ until about 2 years ago. We're pretty sure it had never seen rain until he drove it east for me to pick it up.

Only in the 10 Speed. They have some shared parts but different electronics and software
