Any day at the track is a beautiful day. I remember a trackday at Grattan with flurries flying around, yes, that was also a beautiful day.
We had to remove iced over puddles on the front straight at Grattan before we could ride one weekend.
I (and my team) won many endurance races and one championship but the only sprint I ever won, out of hundreds, was in 9 degree weather with sleet falling. I chock it up to being too stupid to know the danger involved. And yes, it was still better than any sunny day at the beach.
H-D's deserve all the disrespect they get, but I gotta tell you... its the perfect bike for a 55mph putt through the Montana countryside. All of ours have fairly quiet pipes.
