Scott Russell’s bikes…

I wonder what fun it would be to flog that 93 Muzzy Zx7 around the track...he could build an engine.
 
A friend sent me some pictures he took at his house a few months ago. That ZXR400 replica Kawasaki made him for winning the Eight Hours... :Putter:

I had thought he sold that bike years ago. I can’t see what bikes he has listed for some reason.

Yeah, I couldn't see them either from that link above. But I can confirm that I saw the 400 a wsbk in his living room a few months ago.

I was watching pictures of his living room bikes, as indicated in my first post. Joe was hanging out with him.

Weirdly it’s been gnawing at me and any of you old timers help me. I don’t remember the Lockhart endurance bike running PM wheels. Yeah, it’s 40 years on but it’s stuck in my brain.

I dont remember PM wheels on it. I remember white wheels. The PM wheels were restricted to Superbike class. Not sure about endurance races.

They were the cats meow for the FZR 600 so you could run the better 17" rear tires.

I remember JU and Muzzy running them but like I said, don’t remember them at Lockhart.

@RM Racing i just never really liked the looks and the feel (got to check out a see of muzzy’s) and nothing I had could really use them so I never considered a set or two. Plus they were sort of pricey.
I had forgotten there were two options. Thanks for reminding me. :up:
