Dateline Resources Trading Halted Pending NPCA Proceedings Injunction Hearing Outcome

Dateline Resources Limited (ASX: DTR) has requested an immediate trading halt on its securities pending the outcome of a hearing regarding a motion for preliminary injunction in previously disclosed NPCA Proceedings. The halt will remain in effect until the earlier of the announcement of the hearing outcome or the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. This development comes as the company faces ongoing legal proceedings that could materially affect shareholder interests.

at $2 flat, i guess i'll join you.
Yeah, maybe hold off on that for a while. I just got off a chat with my sister. She actually lives in Africa, she's not some moron who's heard of it in a movie. She randomly mentioned that after the call, she was gonna try out a new platform that's officially representing Amazon in Ivory Coast. Needless to say the conversation immediately turned to that. This is going to be interesting...:crackup::crackup:

Tic Tok Tic Tok....

Looks like the activist judge is probably going to issue the injunction.

It's pretty fucked up that our system allows a hostile foreign government to fund envirowhacko non-profits to sue US mining interests to hamstring our ability to achieve strategic materials independence FROM THAT SAME HOSTILE FOREIGN GOVERNMENT!!!

And FUCK CALIFORNIA, TOO!!!!!

Hard to read thread, given the errors of talk-to-text, but very telling of the faults of the NPCA incredibly WEAK case that's probably going to be upheld.

The judge at least did have the good sense to allow DTREF, Et Al to provide a supplementary brief prior to her final judgement since she's fully aware that her injunction will be overturned toot-sweet in a higher court, and she'll look even worse if she doesn't at least make a charade of neutrality here.

It's not dead yet. Thus Strub dude is an ace, pointing out the case law that ""should"" determine the ruling.

Post on the twerter machine. Not mine:

Arguments delivered by attorney Michael Strub Jr. during the recent preliminary injunction hearing in the NPCA case over the Colosseum Mine #REE represent a pivotal moment.• Strub’s thorough rebuttal of NPCA’s irreparable harm claims—highlighting factual inaccuracies in the plaintiff’s declarations, distinctions from prior case law, and site-specific evidence of minimal environmental impact—directly challenges the core basis for an injunction that could halt operations, potentially allowing the company to continue development work uninterrupted.• His comments are widely viewed as having prompted the court to permit additional briefing rounds, giving Dateline (now an intervenor) and the Department of Justice further opportunity to reinforce the validity of the existing Plan of Operations and Valid Existing Rights.• A successful defense here would remove a major overhang on the high-NPV Colosseum Gold-REE project (pre-tax NPV of approximately US$785 million), supporting ongoing financing efforts, site preparation, and the path to production while affirming the project’s alignment with U.S. critical minerals priorities.Dateline Resources Investors should stay informed on the court’s forthcoming ruling after the additional briefs and any company updates, as a positive resolution could materially advance the timeline for realizing the project’s economic potential.

How does the beeb feel about the Chris Camillo method to trading? Spends hrs and hrs on socials looking for trends to initiate his trades. I wonder if he reads this thread

I tend to like his approach better than only going with fundamentals. Yes, I consider fundamentals because I'm not gonna buy a sinking ship on paper. As I have said many times, the market is rigged for the wealthy and market makers and they pretty much control the price. How else can you explain a good earnings report but the stock drops ~15%. Trend analysis is essentially, "Buy the rumor, sell the news". Again, the rumor is JUMIA is the #1 ecommerce site in Wakanda. Q4 they should break even. Q1/27 they should turn a profit. If they don't I suspect a crash landing. If they do, the stock should rise. If by some chance they break even and turn a profit in the same qtr, then MOON!

I dunno but it obviously isn't running with the rest of the market today. The press release above said Jul29...
