No one. The same group of people who need 200 hp for riding around town. The same group that "needs" 400+ hp 4 door sedans to go to the grocery store. None of that stuff is ever about "need".

I'd wager if the mpg is really that annoying you can put a piece of tape over it without damaging the motorcycle lol.
It really is funny they put it on there. I don't even look at instant in cars theses days. I'd also guess you can program something else onto that line. Actually - looks like that is average, it matches the numerical output. So you can have that bar showing MPG all the time while showing other info where the trip odometer is. Either way, I still like it even if it is way too much info to look at on a street bike.
What they would've been looking for was the quantity of fuel in the tank, or how many more miles they could go based on the average MPG. Not the instant MPG, dummy. It's useless.
Look closer at the graph output. My initial assessment of it being instant MPG may have serious issues.
Um they need it incase a "street race breaks out at a traffic signal"...lol. I wont even mention hard core Saturday night parking events!

Actually, it didn't really get too dumb until Julia Childs (she knows what that's about) tried to explain why instant mpg is needed. He picked up your ball of dumb and ran with it.
