The new Multistrada has a similar system on it for cam timing as well and it's derived from Audi. Seems like it works pretty well.

Yeah I typed "on par" but my phone didn't like it and I didn't see it till I was outside the edit window.

KTM's do, I forget which color powerband I have in there now but its the p#ssy one, I know that for sure.
