I use Saddle Conditioner on my race suits, boots, baseball gloves, car seats, etc... Piss on them and let them dry in the sun. Also, piss on your hands and let them dry, prevents blisters and toughens your palms.
Most of the big box sporting goods stores haves a steamer for new baseball gloves that sets them up nicely for conditioning.
Just for general care, or because they are too stiff and don't move well? This is a question I asked with the first couple pairs of gloves I bought; they were tight in random places and didn't flex easily. I tried leather conditioner and it didn't help much. After a year they were just getting comfortable and then split at the seams one day, not even from a crash. My solution was switching brands -- bought gloves that fit better, moved better, and felt comfortable with no break-in or leather treatment at all. It wasn't a matter of cheap/expensive; they were all good brand-name products, but some fit me well and others did not.
Just stiff from being brand new. I put them on, soaked them in warm water and then squeezed a rolled up bath towel for a few minutes. Wore them for 30 mins or so and then put them on my Peet shoe/glove/helmet dryer for a day. Finished up with two applications of Leather Honey and they are good to go.
I might have to try something similar. After 4 consecutive pairs of RST Tracktech Evo gloves I opted to try FIVE gloves - the RST's took like 1-2 rides to feel like home and to be fair the FIVE's feel nicer, suppler, just less protective being a street/TD based glove vs a full blown race glove but there are a few pinch points like in between the fingers and the fingers themselves are a tad tight.
Mine are RST Evos. Night and day difference. Also, the Peet dryer is amazing. Got it for soccer cleats, but it dries gloves without getting them crispy and has a helmet attachment also.
