Netflix. What to watch?

What was your verdict? I thought the story got tied together nicely, but the episodes seemed to drag on.
I was sad to see the series end. Start to finish, really really good. When that series started they were just kids. It was like watching them grow up. Meanwhile when it started I was living by myself in a shit one bedroom apartment in a very bad area. Now I am married, family and house. My life completely changed while watching that series.

Ha kinda the same here. I started watching it in 2020. Freshly divorced and in a bad spot. Now I'm getting married this summer to an amazing woman I've known my entire life and can't imagine things going better. I've only watched a couple episodes so far of the final season though.

This series was very entertaining. The end had a special twist. It seems like a lot of series are just planning on 1 season.
In some ways I kind of like that. You can watch the whole thing in a weekend if you want and it keeps your interest. We’ve gotten sucked into series that never seem to end. Some we just lose interest in and end up moving on.

I hate it when a show is initially written as a one-season miniseries, but it's so successful that they decide to cash in and make some more. The vast majority of the time, it's not as good. Sometimes, it's downright infuriating.

That said, I also hate it when a series is based on a great premise that just can't be stretched over multiple seasons, so they pivot to something else instead of wrapping in one season. Take Prison Break. What did they think was gonna happen after the motherfuckers break out? :)

We usually wait for a show to start its second season before we watch the 1st season. I hate the 8 months wait. I like to binge watch.

Thankfully Station Eleven didn't fall into that trap.

@Boman Forklift

Brother Linders, you need to start binge-watching Landman Season 1 So you get to I Season 2 and meet Cheyenne. I mean, there was no shortage of hotties on the show to begin with (I would murder a child for that piece of Mexican candy) but that new Texas-heat-marinated booty seasoned with the finest herbs is a meal on another level. I'm talking God's work here. That young lady will be in my thought on everything Thanksgiving for the joy she brings into my life.

Maybe it's just me, but season 2 has been just, well, stupid.
All these open storylines that they seem to make a big deal of, then it's just dead. Nothing, nobody cares. Start down one path with whine-assed Cooper, then suddenly total pivot.
His girlfriend might be hot, but she's the worst thing about the entire show. And that is including the utterly ridiculous Angela/Ainsley sideshow.
Yeah, hot. But over the top stupid.
Glad it's over tonight. Not so sure I'll have any interest in season three when they get around to it.

These last 3-5 episodes have been torture.

Well, other than having another piece of eye candy as noted above, arguably the best one on the show.
