Netflix. What to watch?

We watched the one about the missing girl on the cruise ship; it’s decent.
Also watched the one about former Mayor Rob Ford; it’s decent as well.
 
Sovereign.
Not bad; worth a watch. It’s interesting to see Nick Offerman in that type of role. Although it’s not too far fetched from his role as Ron Swanson; just angrier.
 
Dept Q. was good all the way through, I kept watching despite my disdain for the lead character. Now that he has softened they're going to have to find a way to keep my interest in Season 2. Hopefully the Syrian character comes through.

The Trainwreck series has been entertaining, Balloon Boy and Storm Area 51 especially, if you're into the Dateline Meets Mass Media and Dateline Meets the Internet type stories.

I'm still looking for something that scratches the itch for a really good fictional series. I recently re-watched the first episode of Mr. Robot, and it may just have sucked me in (again).

Netflix- The Residence. Think Agatha Christie murder mystery, takes place at the White House, with some humor. Entertaining. A bit woke. The president is gay, and a vast majority of the cast are minorities. However, it's easy enough to overlook the virtue signaling and enjoy the story. 8.5/10
 
Mickey 17 on max.

Pretty funny actually. Started it on a whim. I had no idea it was in a scifi setting but it gets pretty outrageous very quickly. 7 / 10

I couldn't choke down the 1st episode for the same reason. That lead character was worse than House MD on a whole bag of coke. Utter assclown.

What kind of fictional story are you looking for? Fantasy? Sci Fi? Drama?

Oh my God, they made you watch minorities on TV. The horror!
What the hell did you expect watching a Shonda Rhimes show? You didn't get the memo? :crackup:

I don't discriminate, but prefer sci-fi and drama over fantasy. Cerebral is good, but 3 Body Problem's characters and story didn't hold up to the math. :rolleyes: High production value shouldn't be prioritized over character development and plot twists.

Have you watched Boston Legal? It's an older series, but a real stand out.
