I bought a 2025 Aprilia RS 457 at Copart in Colorado Springs for my son to start getting into road racing. I am getting crickets with UShip and need to get something figured out before storage starts to rack up. Anyone have any guys that ship motorcycles or live in the Colorado Springs area that could help.
@SuddenBraking weren’t you considering @Senna Motard in Colorado Springs? If so, maybe you two can combine and ship both bikes together and save some money?
Would half way be any help? I live in Colorado Springs. My sales territory stretches to Kansas City. Not sure if it helps but I could meet you on the MO side of KC if you could take it the remainder of the way. I only have a few requirements. First, I would want to do my bit in a single drive. Far too much stuff gets stolen from hotel parking lots for me to take that risk with your property. Second, you have to be cool with it being transported in the back of a pickup with wheel chock, tie downs, and Canyon Dancer. I dont own a trailer anymore. Finally, you would have to handle the unloading. I have a rather severe back injury and cant get my surgery until late January so I need to be super careful. There are several people on this board that could vouch for me (if I give you my actual name) as possibly being a bit of a whack-a-doo but never a thief or dishonest.
What's your timeline for getting stuff lined up? I don't have a trailer anymore, but I may be able to fit this in my shed for a bit. I might be able to get this into my climate controlled storage unit with some finagling.
Greg, were you able to get some help with this? Weather in the Springs for the next two weeks looks really good if you need to do a road trip.
