Well if you weren’t burnt out enough from a busy schedule, it is back to back weekends my friends. I’m so glad they repaved this track, as it has always been one of my favorites as a spectator. Will he do another triple weekend or will other bikes gel better with the new surface?
the moto 2 and moto 3 races have been MEGA entertaining lately.. as have the first few laps of motoGP.. but mid race on? not so much. MM93 is clearly the guy to beat. but not likely he will be challenged in the near future?
Love back to back weekends! Marc with the clean sweep? Would love to see Bez win one of them though, was gutted for his crash off the podium.
It's a lot of right-hand corners. Yes, I know saying Marc can't go right is like saying Jordan can't go left. But, seems like it's about "that time" for someone else to get a win, Marc stumble just a hair. Will that be Alex? Does Bagnaia pull his head out for a weekend? Can the Yamahahahaha stay together long enough to keep Quarterboy in front for more than 7-8 laps? Bez would be another solid choice. All that said, I wouldn't put money down against Marc, unless it was the special kind of beeb bet where when you lose $1000 you just mouth off and pretend it never happened.
Pedro will be fighting for a spot on the podium when he tucks the front, Pecco will be just as lost as ever compared to the other ducati's, the Royal with Cheese is gonna take another pole but fall back through the pack during sprint and race, Martin is gonna be the top Aprilia but won't get a podium, and Marc is going to crash out of at least one race. Maybe we'll see one of the Honda's towards the front? Good thing I'm not a gambling man because I'd lose it all.
Martin will be interesting to see. Was he allowed to go do some private testing on that bike to at least give him a little seat time? I haven't been keeping up...
I like Bezzechi running at the front. With Martin back and pushing, Bezzechi will have one thing on his mind: beat your teammate. Cheers, Dave
He's had one day of testing at Misano this last week, after doing doing some practice on a RSV4 a few days earlier No shit. He's got no excuses
eventually Marc will back off and think championship. Luca was riding good, Alex looked really good for having a broken hand. then there's the martinator returning with vengeance
I really don't think Martin should be pushing for a good result... Just get back into race form. This season is gone, take it slow and steady and build for the future. If he's in the points on Sunday I would call that a huge win.
I think Martin will have a ton of pressure. It will suit him well. I see top 5. Agree Bez will have extra motivation (like he needs any more). Marc is still too strong with his skill/bike combo. Just not enough parity with manufacturers. Not sure if Quarterpounder goes well here or not but I am happy he finally got on the podium with all his effort on that bike. I dont see long straights so maybe he has a chance at pole. Say what you will but I think Fabio is an alien. Seeing Rins in 18th... Yikes. I am hoping Martin saves this season with making marc work for it. Hope this will make me continue to log in and watch the weekend. I havent watched one Moto3 race yet this season. Gonna save that till later. The Moto2 is just so good.. Best racing on TV.
Gonna watch this race to see how George does. Starting to tune out of this season. If Aprilia can run at the front and threaten for wins I'll get back into it, but this is getting tedious.
Marky Marc ain’t backing off to cruise to the championship. He wants to win every race he can, as witnessed by how hard he raced in the sprint last weekend when he could have settled for an easy second place but ran as hard as he could to take the win. He’s chasing records at this point. Plus i guarantee he’s got a huge chip on his shoulder from everyone that said Gigi made a huge mistake by letting Martin go and picking Marc for the factory team instead.
B Bro. This is going to be wasted breath (or typing) but you are watching absolute greatness. Record breaking greatness. Jordan and the Bulls. Tom Brady and the patriots. Marc Marquez re-writing MotoGP history. Dont miss it because you love Vale. This season will be in the history books. It's worth witnessing.
Those of you wishing to see Martin push Marc, first, put down the crack pipe. Next, take a deep breath. Finally, lets do some logic. Martin barely beat out Pecco on equal equipment just last year. Marc on equal equipment has let Pecco in his dust. His brother on last year's bike is also smoking Pecco. Thinking Martin is coming back from injury on Aprilia and pushing Marc is delusional at best.
