Martin, you DO understand the BPR team is a completely different team than the STRACK team, right? Yes, they are both racing Yamaha's but the riders of each respective team (JH4!) are working to win the races and be the top Yamaha team.

They said something on the broadcast about switching from Stepfather to father, or the opposite, or something. I've only known one adult to change his last name like that. That was weird. Which does it make sense: women change last names all the time and it doesn't feel weird.

According to a RRW article I found his legal name has always been Kornbeau but haven't been able to find a good summary of why the change now.
 
I enjoyed watching it.

Josh Hayes obviously still has it, that win on Sunday was a masterclass. But, he still needs to find some more speed on that new bike. I wouldn't bet against that happening at any time, but the specifics are over my head.

P.j. Wasn't out of the game either.

I had my fingers crossed for Cameron the whole weekend. The races that he rode seem to say he is no different, except for maybe weighing every risk.

It was great seeing Jake in the mix in the dry, and with the win in the rain. But, if he was really back on form, he would have been closer on Saturday. I hope I'm wrong.

Herrin's performance doesn't disclose much. He didn't do great, but he never does there.
He seemed to be happy with it. He could be a strong contender this season.

At the end of the day, I think we all just want to see close racing to the end, with Cameron winning in the end after the calamity he experienced the past two seasons.

And, because of that, I'll be rooting for Josh or Jake (seriously, lightning can strike twice, but I think rooting for Cam is going to get boring quickly this year).

Global economics are constantly shifting throughout history. Experienced teams understand these shifts and do their best to adapt to them the best they are able to. Just another bump in the road, similar to unexpected weather and political changes around the world. No one predicted the Rain in Spain falling Mainly on the Plaines last fall, either.

After I saw Cams crash and holding his wrist, Paasch was the firt person that came to my mind, call Warhorse asap.
I dont follow the baggers, so I dont know whats going on there.

Yeah caught that but didn't hear details. I've known a couple over the years through racing and yeah it is funny how one strikes you as odd and other not at all.

All in all smart to leave the team as BPR since he is known by that name.
