Chris, I don't know you from Adam (but do enjoy your water stories) but that was a hell of a thing to do. Well done. I reached out to Kurt when I moved to Memphis as I was in WERA territory and he talked me through a few things in your 250 world. Got a chance to chat with him briefly at Tally, and wish I had taken the time to get to know him better.
FWIW, in my humble opinion, I think Deidre would truly appreciate redeemable coupons..... 1. 1 free car wash from Sean 2. 1 free grass cutting from Cam 3. 1 free gutter cleaning from Broome 4. 1 tree removal service from Padilla 5. 1 boat ride from ........ You get my point. I realize this is not an option for lots but she specifically said she would need us. She had to ask for someone to transport Conrad to chess because she can't drive. Just an idea. And BTW, getting the kids Christmas choked me up..... Awesome....
Dudes. Don’t know most of you guys from Adam but what a bunch of serious badasses. I’m trying to run HWT next year- so any one of you is due some beers when/if I see you in the paddock. Chaotic- mad fuckin props man.
Sorry I was busy with work yesterday. Ya'll done hogged it all. I'll wait for the college fund information.
My wife and I were talking about ways to pay the few that have donated to me while I was in Tejas. If the kids update their amazon list, we will definitely be buying a few things for them and hopefully someone can put together something for Kurt’s wife. Nicest group of assholes you’ll ever meet. Consistently humbled by this place. Definitely proud to be a part of this community of people
When I check the original link that was posted it comes up zero. This list looks decidedly less like the list that was originally populated. I'm happy to help work this list but I'm not sure it is the same list.
This is the "wish list," not the Christmas list... amazon has a bunch of different lists you can populate separately... The individual Christmas lists are still empty
When I click on either of the OP's links, Olivia is at the top of the left-hand column. Clicking on her list gets the link above.
That's olivia's "wish list" If you follow the link from the earlier post for her christmas list it goes to the list titled "christmas list" which I'm assuming was her christmas list that has been cleared out.
I have never met any of you or Kurt. I'm a track day rider and enjoy the racing community. This loss was life and this one SUCKED, but shows people try and help when we can. Since the address didn't show, have NO idea if I could be of further assistance. A city and state would be good enough for us to know if we might be able to help out with that Deidre most likely depending on Kurt for. Those things like cleaning the gutters, drains, furnace. Maybe be a big brother to the kids. Just a thought. This drive to help the family is really fantastic. Hope to meet some of you in the future.
Since the list is covered I was thinking about some other ideas. I suspect there will be a lot of nights for a while to come where everything seems overwhelming. Are there enough restaurants nearby that are part of Uber eats? I'm thinking an Uber eats giftcard would come in handy when they are having a rough evening and don't want to cook. Thoughts?
I don't think I could put a face to all but 5 of you but I'm proud to be apart of this. I saw the thread, knew what it was for because I read the other one and when I noticed everything was bought it made me super happy. Good shit guys.
