The good news of Eli on their team... they have found better performance in the hydraulic clutch developing the cable version for Mr Tomac. Wonder if it will be offered on their performance parts line??
If you’re looking for one my friend in Cincinnati is selling an almost brand new one. I can’t figure out how to get the link from FB but search Cincinnati marketplace and it’s on there. He goes through bikes faster than most go through socks and will wheel and deal.
I’m cautiously optimistic if they can keep assembly of the higher tier/off road stuff in Austria. His comments about middle management bloat hit a little too close to home as a grunt in a company facing a similar transition in a completely unrelated vertical.
I just DM'd him on FB messenger. Feel free to tell him he's got a fresh fish on the line and to not let this one go........
Some of you all are slacking this week. Heard it a few days ago, but have been too busy to look up facts. Shared plenty of sources so there's no doubting a single source. https://www.motogpnews.com/2025/11/...he-motogp-team-after-meeting-potential-buyer/ https://www.visordown.com/news/bajaj-completes-acquisition-ktm https://www.rideapart.com/news/779443/ktm-bajaj-acquisition-official-2025/ https://amcn.com.au/editorial/bajaj-flags-huge-cost-cuts-for-ktm/
from pierer mobility (1991-2025) to bajaj mobility. 4.000 employes in total, 3.000 of them white-collars
Herve sold Tech3 for €20M. For 5x that price there must be facilities, tooling, and other capital investments that come with the deal. Maybe it includes the race team HQ? Even then, Tech3 likely came with all the capital investments as well (most of which are leased anyway) so not sure how the factory team is worth 5x.
I think it's strange how none of the US motorcycle news sources are reporting on, or even re-posting any articles about the Bajaj Auto Ltd takeover of KTM AG, besides this modest post repeated on the Dealernews FB page: BAJAJ PLAN FOR KTM PROCEEDS Conspicuous in its absence from Eicma, the KTM/Bajaj mashup has made headway. Monday morning after the world's largest motorcycle trade fair KTM USA parent company Pierer Mobility announced the Bajaj plan would proceed without restrictions. The headline in the Austrian Business Press read: EU Commission Does Not Initiate Investigation, Deal Proceeds. Subscribe To #Dealernews To See The Full Story: https://dealernews.com/.../post/bajaj-plan-for-ktm-proceeds/ Are they afraid KTM USA might not advertise with them or something?
They've finally made a press release on the 990 RC R Track. https://amcn.com.au/editorial/ktm-u...-zDws6MIfPqE6tQAlE_aem_JfahRuwRD-TBDcnd7HDgFg Pretty disappointing to see that even on the dedicated track model, you'd have to buy an aftermarket body kit to take it racing. Seriously, why no fluid containing belly pan, KTM?
