If anyone is considering any suits with an In&Motion airbag system (RST for example) here is a referral code that will get you a 25% discount on the annual subscription, equivalent 3 free months for a monthly plan, or a discount on the outright unit purchase. Just plug it in when registering. This helps both of us as it does provide a discount to me as well, but the code only works so many times. I have 10 uses left on this code so first 10 to snag it are the lucky winners.

slightly off-topic, have you ever had your suit say it was off when you came back in to pits after a session? first time user, I had it on at the beginning of the day and checked between each session then after a few successful sessions quit checking. At the end of the day's sessions it didn't want to connect and app said it was off.

I’ve been wearing one for 3 years now. I have never had this issue. I assume your software is all up to date? Is it possible you turned it off via the app accidentally?
 
good to hear, most likely user error. I've got some more track time coming up I'll keep an eye on it.

Do you guys turn it on once and leave it on all day or toggle it between sessions?

i leave mine on till lunch, then i turn it off and take the suit off. after lunch i put it on again and arm the system for the rest of the day.
 
The battery lasts multiple days. I turn mine on at the start of the day and off at the end of the day, that's it. Usually charge after day 1 just for peace of mind.

Turn mine on in the morning and check it after lunch.
two deployments over 3 years no problems other than having to be sure the air bag stays clipped in the front or the bag will slip up in your shoulder.
