Hey, it's some day, maybe Friday! What ya listening to? Screw you IYC.

I liked the Kryst stuff. American Psycho grew on me eventually. The second album not so much as a whole, but a couple songs. I think the last time I saw them, Robo had come back early 2000s, and I was super excited about that……earth a.d. personal favorite. Walked into Capitol ballroom, and lo and behold Robo was at the bar drinking Heinekens pre show. Nobody but me immediately recognized him. I walk up start speaking Spanish to him, and everyone that’s with me thinks it’s somebody I work with

The White Buffalo.

Matt the drummer, hooked me up with tickets tonight at The Limelight, Belfast.
Taking my brother and sister.
Sister hasn’t seen Matt since they graduated from La Jolla High School in 1991/92.
Matt ain’t aware Caitriona and Patrick are going so he’ll be double surprised to see em.

Prisma yet again… they really rock ass… it’s better than Elephant Tree and way better than Porcupine Tree… but in that altering measure crunchy riff prog style they all have…

This punk rock museum in Vegas has a lot of Suicidal Tendencies stuff. I was never big into punk, so there's a ton of stuff from bands I've never heard of, and a handful I have.
But it's a neat place

Who was your guide?

Today I just clicked on shit that came up as "suggested" on the yougores to see if there's anything I'm missing. Highlights were Plague Vendor. The Shaggs, well, interesting.

We had Rob with us, and others. The Dollheads played in the pennywise garage display for their album release.
Those guys love them.
But mostly wandered around ourselves.

Bobby Steele (Misfits, undead, Bobby steele, etc) was just out there as a guide. Okay enough dude.

He was doing tours last night apparently, but he wasn't there today.
We had an album release concert at "The Space" last night. It's a decent little concert venue.

I watched a couple of videos of the latest version of Black Flag playing and it's extremely troubling.

Kept thinking Chris Hansen was going to show up for Ginn.

Mazzy Star

So tonight that I might see

hey @britx303 your girl Hope’s voice is hypnotic but the strings on this record are really good as are the organs and the pedals… just great music… listened to the album old school so that I could do it right… time well spent

ok, I’m calm… now I’m going back to Prisma, Sons of the Tundra, maybe the tree brother bands… he’ll maybe some Screeming Trees while I’m all Arborly :D

Found a documentary about a band out of early 70s band out of Detroit named Death. Three black musicians who played an early form of punk who I think were brothers or at least blood. Think Minutemen mixed with that Detroit guitar sound mixed with who the heck knows?
Totally blown away.
