Help with locating a .018" cometic head gasket for a 2009 r6

In the process of getting parts together for an engine build but I am having a hard tike finding the head gasket that the builder suggested. Needing an .018" thinkness cometic mls head gasket.

 

I have one here at the shop. 706-658-0368.

And if Rick didn't have one, you could just call Cometic and they'll make one for you.

 

Or split a stocker, a genuine one fromRM will be best for sealing though.

 

Splitting R6 gaskets is bad, mmmkay. GSXR, yes, R6, not so much. At least in my experience - every R6 gasket that I've seen split blew eventually. I've never done it, but the results of doing it have shown up in the shop.

if your on west coast, i have plenty too. Like rick said, i wouldn't recommend splitting oem one.

 

Yea I had read about splitting gaskets during my searches and I was skeptical about it. Anyways I got one on the way soon thanks to rick matheny. Thumbs up to RM!!
