Has anyone riden these trails in WVA? Are they safe for a dirt bike with all of the side by sides? Thanks
Tons, and miles of trails. From side by sides,to the nastiest stuff you can imagine.I would spend time watching some you-tube vids. It reminds me of the gas line trails in Blairsville. You can find anything you want, from open trails,to rock gardens, and un doable hill climbs
Toofpic thank you. I need a break and this sounds like a winner. An old man on an old kdx. Big smikes
I’ve ridden them. At no time did I feel unsafe due to the side-by-side. Most of the side-by-side were doing side-by-side things and rolling over on their occupants, arms and etc.. Dirt bikes have an advantage as they can hug the inside tire trail on steep drop offs and I found it pretty reasonable of just waiting at the top or bottom of a trail section for it to clear out so you could go up or down on the bike. There are plenty of places that you can take the gnarliest double black diamond trail that looks like an Erzberg rodeo stage…. and it’s just wide enough for a dirtbike When I went bikes were street legal to ride into town, go to dinner, pressure washer, etc. However, the area was very depressed. The local hospital had just shut down which I’ve never seen in my lifetime drugs are pretty rampant in the area. But the riding was fun. It can get dusty depending on when it last rained.
Went last year to Devil Anse and Tornado.. Just booked some RV spots for October… Tornado is all single track and will kick the living shit out of you but well worth it.. Great Mexican place across the bridge in Mingo
I have a couple co-workers who go there quite often with SxS. Pics and vids they bring back are absolutely amazing. It's like the wild west with ATV's.
I would like to thank everyone for the information. I retired 18 months ago and have been working on that To do list just about every day. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Got to get several bikes ready for my real retirement. thank you all
