Howard Stern Show Cancelled After 20 Years as SiriusXM No Longer Considers it Worth The Money Reports Claim

Finally packing it up, about 10 yrs too late in my opinion. Satellite couldn't pay him enough, even with taking entire summers off, and God knows how many vacations:rolleyes:
He "use" to be funny, until he became an old lady "yenta" as he always called his mother, only later to mimic.
Should have kept his political opinions to himself, and cost Sirius millions over the yrs,and subscription decline.:flag:

now...go back and re-hire Jim Norton!!:)

Do people still listen to him? I watched some highlights of his latest interviews on the yougores and it was softball, non funny crap you could see at 11:30 on network TV.

Never a fan, not a listener and don't think he was ever remotely funny.

I enjoyed, the entourage ,wack pack, prank phone calls, fights,Richard&Sal.But no..he sucked! Driving a truck OTR you kinda had to find something to occupy that vacant dead time.
Jim& Sam show,or old Opie & Anthony ,waay better. I know drivers gonna be looking for something to fill that commute, and work hrs.

I guess if you're looking for the same old, same old consistency of crap he'd be a go to especially if it's for hours or even days at a time.

That crap really isn't my type of g style thang. I did listen to Elliot in the Morning from DC101 on and off but I thought it was different than Stern and I was driving at o'gawd thirty.

Wanna bet he does a podcast next?

I'm sure he will do something. He supposedly hates podcasts, but I could see him doing it,prolly on a political platform, just to be a dick.
I keep mentioning Jim & Sam,but they split due to Sirius not wanting to pay Jim. They had a great show, and covered everything from wraslin,
movie stars, porn stars and usually great content.

Stern always sucked. A whole staff of annoying no-nothings.
Back in the 90's, a station put his show on air to go up against Tom Bernard(sp?) On KQRS. Tom could be kind of a prick(and got to be more so in later years)but he was a fantastic story teller. Stern lasted less than a year here, if I remember correctly.

I'd much rather listen to music instead of people talking while driving. I love commercial free satellite radio, well, commercial free if you don't count them talking about themselves as commercials.

When he jumped on the "get the vax or else" bandwagon i realized he was just a pawn...90's stern wouldnt have done that. He could die tomorrow...Please....and I wouldnt care.

Past Glory I still have several AVON calendars from the 90's

I think it was the "E!" channel that had highlights back in the day. I tried watching it, but it was clear that being a guest on that show was an exercise in how much humiliation you were willing to endure for your few minutes of "fame". I did enjoy the interview of Tom Brady after his retirement, particularly how upset all the sports talking heads were that Stern got that interview over all of them.

yeah if you listened to him prior to satellite it was kind of amusing. Now his 12 step act where he doesn't want to hurt feelings or be funny is tiresome.

I had to listen to that walking pile of foreskin in the morning when I was on one tour of duty. He absolutely sucked more than Howard Yenta.

We will have to just disagree. He was as funny as Seinfeld and Larry David to me. None of those 3 ever made me laugh.

Howard never made me laugh on the radio. But his movie was funny. So he scored one point. That’s enough for a good hockey score.

Fair enough. I'm just bullshitting anyway. I just appreciated Dons dgaf attitude and crassness but agree about Howards stuff.
