Yesterday lost a good human/ friend/ past teammate. This will be the second past teammate/friend in 8 months to c—-er!! We had butted heads early years of racing but then became friends and eventually teammates. We won 1 overall superbike big bike endurance with CMRA 1998 . I was not gonna post this and at this time withholding his name, but writing this is helping me process. Godspeed brother.
I'm sorry about the loss of your friend. It sounds like you have good memories of him, cherish those.
He fought long and hard, he gave it hell just like he used to race . He raced longer than anyone I know. Started in 1985 and raced every year up until he started his battle with cancer four years ago! He did so much throughout his life , he knew how to live life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed but NEVER FORGOTTEN. I’m actually glad he passed he had a really hard battle than most. My thoughts and prayers are with Julie his wife who has always stood by him and took such great care of him! GODSPEED Brother till we meet again
Sorry John...a good human and friend is hard to find. I'm sure he appreciated you being there. I remember Pete
I got to see him 1 month ago in the hospital, so grateful was hard . He was normally 180 lbs , he was down to 130 lbs . Was proud and privileged to say he was my friend
He was very humble and never posted anything and stayed positive throughout the whole thing! There will be a life celebration at his and Julie’s house on August the 2nd for anyone wanting to attend. Will post time and address details later.
Oh jeez that’s tough. Way too young and sounded like such a blessing to anyone who had the good fortune to know him. So sorry for your loss. RIP Pete.
