    No,
I do however take exception when they act like assholes from jumpstreet.

You really do need to get down this way so we can drink a beer and I can tell you some good LE stories... most of them are really old, I haven't had any recent encounters...unless you count the few where I saw some UBBO's in the rearview disappear into the horizon.

    Exactly.

I hate that too BUT from all walks of life just not those in uniform.

God willing, once I've relocated down that way we can work something out. Do you streetride? It'd be kinda cool if a bunch of us can set up a group ride, be it off road or on.....we can even extend invites to the bitches who speak for you too. :D

OK, you lost me on that reply......."exactly" what? o_O
Criminal arrests that are derived from a simple mv stop annoy you?

    X,
I had to Edit..got the quotes and replys backward...LOL

Yep, street ride and dualsport...good riding here and north of here.

I do have issue with the silly traffic stop that results in a weed bust for seeds n stems..or a roach, it is not about public safety, it is about revenue generation...nothing more.

    WE? Uhhh NO....just you bro.

Since I'm not craving another senseless Mongo style debate on the common English language, typically, when you use "eat a dick" within a retort....it's meant negatively. But you keep reminding us how smart and educated you are....you knew that right?

Always striving to being the forum consummate cunt, aren't you?

    Dave K DaveK über alles!

Some cops are complete tool bags who are looking for a promotion to Admiral in the Greek navy by doing dickhole shit like the stems and seeds shit or going ape shit about leaving grand ma in a hot car. I see more than a few of them around here.

But I'd argue that most are pretty freakin' alright.

Up in Joisey a few years ago:
"Sir, do you have any drugs or guns in you car?"
    "No and no."
"Then you'd be okay with my searching your car?"
"No, not without a warrant. Glove box and trunk are locked and so are the doors and you don't have probable cause."
    "Oh, you a lawyer?"
"Nope, just a guy with time to wait and not going to let you search my car without reason and time to file a complaint with your superior when you find nothing."
"Asshole, watch the speed limit and you're lucky."
"Thank you, officer. Have a good day, sir."

    Thanks for the clarification!
I asked only because in MY experiences in the time I've done this, 'perception problems' absolutely exist and lead to unfair biases and outlook on police, police actions, etc.... more often than not, it seems these days. I won't pester you with the details of any experiences you may or may not have had. But I just wanted to get a better understanding on why you felt the way you seemed to share in that one post. And that is the attitude of 'write me my ticket and let's get on our way'.

I know, personally, I've used mv stops more so as a tool to conduct a brief curbside interview with someone who I might suspect of something bigger than a moving violation (that can vary). A LOT of LEO's do this and I praise the practice because it leads to thousands of arrests throughout this country, with that said, IMHO, it doesn't make sense to frown on that kind of pro-active police activities. That's really all I was curious about and wanted to share.......one last bit, I, RARELY, ever wrote summonses....but if some fuckstick gave me an attitude just because I made a legit stop and felt like conducting an investigatory type stop, he/she always went home with a summons, that they essentially wrote themselves. Food for thought.

No ONE deserves to be treated like shit from either side of these interactions.

Oh and in my 26 yrs, not ONCE have I ever made a BS stop and arrest as the one you shared...in fact, most times that kinda garbage wound up on the street or down a storm drain.

    Sounds good.

Yeah, I read what you've written. It doesn't change anything and I'm not going to look up any statutes for you on not following the instructions issued by an officer of the law. You can look it up yourself. I know, I know, you've met some really "cool" cops. That's good. I'm glad to hear that. I'm guessing that the only cops that are not cool are the ones investigating possible criminal actions. I'm also guessing that the cop that was harassing you didn't know you from Adam's off ox so he was just having some fun at your expense. Do you really think I have a shitty attitude for being bothered when the police do their job and investigate possible criminal actions? One would think you, and everybody else, would have that same attitude. After all, we're paying them to do so.

Remind me to tell you of the cop who stopped me at 2am coming thru Marietta on I-75 for my tail lights actually being out...in the rain...there was a short under the back of the truck...as I was replacing the fuse under the dash...he REMOVED my .38 S&W from the door pocket........unloaded it and began to read me the RiotAct....it is a great story. :)

I don't need you to look up shit for me. You made the claim that I was breaking the law. The burden of proof is on the one making the claim.

Out of the 6 or 7 cops that ended up on the scene there, none of them told me I was breaking a single law. I spoke to two of them, other than the hyped up cowboy, and they both admitted that I had not broken the law, but they just didn't like that I had parked in a 'dangerous spot'. I get that. I don't get the murder threat.

Like I said, he woke me up and it was glaringly obvious that I was half asleep... being around 2am and all. A calm 'step out of the car sir' would have definitely sufficed. My hand never even came close to going out of sight.

If you want to keep making terribly inaccurate guesses about me, feel free to keep digging that hole. But you're definitely not reading, or maybe just comprehending my posts. Like I said.. out of all the cops I've dealt with... again... TWO.. that were not cool were the one I've explained, and one that busted a party I was at, drinking underage and had a cop try to give me a dwi for being passed out in the back seat of my jeep in a driveway. The other cop on the scene called him off of me and let me go inside, and even told the guy that lived there, who he knew, that the cop giving me a hard time was.. and I quote 'a new guy and just a dick sometimes'. But that's probably bullshit right? As you know someone with a badge could NEVER be a problem....

My other run ins with cops on duty I have had have all been positive interactions with individuals doing a damn good job at what they do. I have no problem taking responsibility for my actions when I am breaking the law, even if it's a law I don't agree with. I do have a problem with the idea that I should be treated as a second class citizen for doing so, and be open to harrasment or even assault just for being in the wrong, while never showing any indication of being armed or agressive.

What I really can't wrap my mind around is how people like you can justify an officer 'just having a good time' with my little half asleep, unarmed ass by threatening to kill me. Your attitude is exactly the kind of poison that the trigger happy cops are sipping on and fucking up everything for everybody. At the end of the day, whether you like it or not, civilians and cops, we're all on the same team. What's bad for one side of the fence is bad for the other. It's a bunch of individual human beings, and any hate dished out either way is always going to breed more hate. It won't fix shit. Empathy. Try it.

Yeah. Two cops. Out of all the cops you've had interactions with. Tell me again how "systemic racism and abuse of power" play out of those stats?

Tell me how a white kid that gets pulled over for speeding several times a year should draw any 'systemic' conclusions whatsoever about law enforcenent as a whole based off his personal stats?

Not to get in the way of a perfectly sweet cat fight between you and Orvis but this detail caught my eye, what State did this happen?

Since you seem to have so much contempt for what he "attempted" to do....in NJ and many other State's it doesn't matter if you're sleeping it off in the backseat, IF YOU POSSESS the car keys you can be charged DUI. Just sharing in case you genuinely don't know.

No keys.. no booze.. no wallet.. even no shoes.. :D:DI just hopped in my back seat for a 'nap'. I was intoxicated. I was underage. I'm sure there's some violation there.. maybe mip? From what I was told about fl law at the time if I would have had keys anywhere in the vehicle that would have been a dwi. The guy was just super aggressive and I think he knew... because he had me alone for quite a bit and probably would have already arrested me before his co worker came over if he really could have charged me with that. I did learn a good lesson that night about where not to pass out!

LOL! I have actually had this happen to me quite a while ago. Barney Fife tried to give me a DWI for being passed out on the seat of a pickup as he did not believe I did not have a set of keys on me and tried to strongarm me with the whole " I know you have them" routine. I do know that if you are really drunk it sucks to be woken up by banging, shouting and a really bright flashlight...:D

Haha oh wow... thank god I had no doors/windows in at the time... probably would have gotten shot from the noise I would have made being woken up like you were in that state!! Yeah that guy searched the shit out of my Jeep. Assumed I had hidden keys, booze, drugs.. kept saying.. so you mean I'm not even going to find a single seed in here?! I was like, nope, for sure, nothing! He said boy you must really vacuum your shit out then. It was quite the trip.
