Fuel it was tuned for? What generation engine was it based on? Bummer it's too big for B Superbike. GLWS!!
I guess I could have clarified my question, but I'm not actually in the market for this motor, just curious, so I didn't press. From their website, "we can tailor it to run Pump 92, Pump 100, VP U4.4, VP MR12, VP MRXO1, VP T4, etc. Again the most important aspect is you commit to your fuel choice and we must confirm this with you ahead of build" so I would surmise that they built this engine for use with a particular fuel that you specified. What fuel is that?
My understanding is that “we can tailor it to run…” various fuels is referring to the tune. I don’t remember Eric ever telling me he would build the motor differently depending on what fuel I wanted to run, but I guess if I had told him I was intending to run it as a nitrous drag bike, he might build it differently than for a track day bike. I was intending to run this motor as I had the stock bottom end motor - dual maps for pump 92 and u4.4. Because this motor has not been run, it can be tuned for whatever fuel the buyer wants to run. I thought my initial response had answered the original question, but after reading the follow up question, I see now it was a little vague. If my answer to the follow up question is still ambiguous, let me know. Also, any prospective buyer can verify any info with EDR. The build wasn’t completed that long ago, so Eric should remember it and be able to verify anything I’m saying here.
