Dang I forgot about her. Maybe she lost interest in the sport after BTR. Crazy to think nobody wanted to give her a seat in another class. She was dominant.
I can't remember what it was but I think I have seen her in another class. That's the flip side of racing against women only.
Running some ASRA. Pretty sure I saw her run a 1:26 or 1:27 on Summit Main on her supermoto last month.
She raced a Jr Cup 400 Ninja at NJMP at the end of her final season of BTR ('23). Top 15. She beat Alessandro DiMario in both races and he's done OK since.
I'm one of those guys who got passed by her, just happy I was on the same track with her. Wish her all the luck and a race win!!!
He had a sidebar discussion about Kayla in the race of champions thread. There's a link to her riding MM's GP bike in there as well.
That's a great article. Super cool to hear all the people supporting her to give her the best experience and how elated she was with it.
Her team really needs to be working over Smirnoff vodka for a personal sponsorship when she hits 21. It's too perfect.
Very true, but a crossover could bring some of his comedy back for younger people to hear, and he's still going strong. He could write some moto-specific comedy bits in his classic style. Sure it's a pipe dream, but man it could be a way to get some moto content into some funny new commercials.
