I just started to leave the chat on anyone that lowballs me. It's so much more freeing than engaging with lowballers
Honestly I stay YES to most lowballers just to have some fun. 90% of the time that I say yes.... I get ghosted anyway? Huh?
If lowballed, I reply with an even higher price than the original asking price. They seem to go quiet after that.
What do ya'll think of this sweet ride? "Custom made one of a kind tandem motorcycle. Runs great via rear engine. Will make people do a “double” take when you pass. 1st place trophy’s from every bike show I’ve entered. Skeleton can be removed for wife or girlfriend to ride." https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/2075760173183505/?media_id=0&ref=share_attachment
When I first saw it I thought TZ700 engine? I'd buy it right now. But it is from a 2004 Yamaha SX Viper snowmobile and has a three cylinder engine. YT vid on the kart: Vid on the snowmobile where the motor the sourced:
When you build a vehicle that is likely to plow into something solid, shouldn't you build something substantial up front to save you from being smooshed in the crumple zone?
All I see are huge expansion pipes and the driver's seat crammed into the left side of the kart. Hope its for an anti-clockwise track.
I had a Viper 700. I put triple pipes, aftermarket head, clutched it well... It was a RIPPER! Sounded like an Indy car. One of my favorite rides. Later in it's life I wanted to refresh the motor and while it was down, I opted for porting and reshaping of the aftermarket domes. The racer gent/srx-viper specialist I had do the cylinders and domes, didnt listen, I told him pump gas premium safe due, to where we ride, and fuel availability. After assembly and compression test, we knew it wasnt going survive on just pump fuel. Mixed 50-50 av gas for awhile, that got old. Burned it down twice, in a season, then sold it, as a roller. I wished I would have left the head alone, and not reshaped it. It probably would have lived a lot longer, even with the porting. It was one of my favorite builds. Ski
Man, I couldn't wipe the grin off my face that whole video. 130mph at 2.5" off the ground has got to be pretty exciting. $2500 doesn't sound to awful unreasonable... and like Stick says, the opportunity to piss off ALL the neighbors - priceless! If I wasn't quite so old and somewhat modestly respectable, I'd be all over this. 700cc 2smoke at full chat on a regular basis...FUN!
