College Football Championship

The $$$ coaches and college players are now making pale in comparison to others that get the biggest pieces of the pie.

In most cases, where the institution is public (i.e. State run) the coach's salary is paid by the public coffers, not a separate fund.

A coach gets a lot more than just salary.

I agree. Just really commenting that the payout from Ole Miss to the coach that jumped to LSU comes out of the taxpayer pocket, not a special fund.
I'm sure sports endowments either already exist or will soon enough.

Oregon looked strong? I think they will be the first out and the weakest of the 4... I think IU then Miami at the top 2... I would love to see OleMiss just take it all and run away from it though... they should have had GA's ass last time they played.. GA is not a Chanmpionship team this year IMO...

As long as Bobo is the OC for UGA they will not see another Natty. He sucked as a high school QB and at UGA. He sucked as the OC under Richt and as the head coach at UC. His play book must consist of 4 pages, not script but pop up pictures and yep I'm a UGA fan going way back to the mid 70's . Hats off to Ole Miss and their win well earned. I see Indiana finishing strong with the Natty!

In 2026, the Longhorns should be in the playoffs IMHO. I know, they lost 3 games though.
They beat what 3 teams ranked above them currenty?

This FCS title game has been rather humorous. Lots of bad football, errors and back and forth.
Now into OT.

So, will the ACC upset the apple cart and beat the SEC and Big 10? As for tonight's game it is very hard to beat a great team twice in a season. I think Oregon will come through with the win but wouldn't be very surprised if they don't as Indiana is on a mission.

Go Ducks!
