What can we do to help @Boman Forklift ? Setup a gofundme? I'm good for a fiverr!

At the very least, we can offer some moral support. He's terrified of getting back on the track after being away for 50 or so years. Tony Serra won the 250 class championship at Willow at age 72 so I think Linders will do just fine.

@mookdogg what you setting up for him?

If only there was a business renting bikes at Willow.

I think a guy could make a small fortune doing that. (if they started with a large fortune...lol)

I'm supposed to race out there with Brady Walker in October. He sent out emails that the new owners were waay too expensive for anything after this event.Soo..anyone know otherwise?
It didnt sound too promising, unless I read wrong into it?

That's the rumor mill for sure - however I don't think they've got a price list out there yet so it could just people making assumptions based on their plans and upgrade costs.

:crackup:You knucklehead. I didn't come on here asking for handouts.

I'm only terrified that your old ass that has raced years longer than I have, and has ridden 100,000 more miles in the saddle, might get beat out there by this old fossil.

Those were good times. Met so many good people. Also had a great time putting Pro ringers on the bikes.

Yes you can and since that’s a good bike and you already know willow, get your rear end out here. Would like to meet you.

Actually my son has the twins record out there from 2011. The track has been repaved and is supposedly quicker, plus bikes have more horsepower and better tires, I suspect it will get broken at this event. He did a 1:27:08 or a 1:27:12 can’t remember and that was on an old 80hp cam swap SV with flat slides.

Heck yea! That's the plan, except I would rather take my r6 this time.My old arse doesnt want to take the 1k again. I would also like to try some of that new pavement out.My first and last time out
there,my glasses were sliding off my face every lap going into t1. Bumpy ass track for this SE sissy! Great group of guys/racers,and very helpful! John James helped me around for a few sessions,
but he had Big Boy racing to do,and went on up the track!
