I was just in MT as of this past Sunday (Glacier NP). It's about a 22 hour drive between KS and there (did it in 2 days each way). At least it's fairly scenic once I get out of KS.
It wouldn't really fit into my schedule right now but I think this would be fun. The flights from here to Vegas are cheap enough it wouldn't be a big deal to cover that part of it. I've never driven a Slingshot but it's got to be more comfortable than most motorcycles and I've ridden a bike for that many hours.
Nine times out of ten you'll be faster staying on 15 up to 215 and 80 through parley's than taking surface streets to Provo canyon and dealing with heber traffic. But both will be decent scenery.
I have never so much as looked at a slingshot. Any bells and whistles? Radio/ac/heat? What makes them so uncomfortable, other than the looks of it?
You lost out on the chance to ride the thing ToofPic ... no Tijuana Donkey shows and cheap blow for you! The donkeys will have motion all to themselves!
Just saw some kinda storm messed LV up....telephone poles down everywhere Not sure there down everywhere tho
Mostly just near the airport. Only a few blocks got the big downdraft microburst that knocked over power lines.
I knew you couldn't shell out cash to someone else to do this for you. I'm sure everyone on here thought the same thing. Not much skilled slave labor readily available these days. Especially on here.
Vegas is a $hit-hole LOL. I stayed at the Luxor because I needed a cheap place to crash for 5 hours. Seller was awesome. Once I got to Cedar City the temps cooled down to mid 90's. The Slingshot did great cruising at 87 mph all day, but its loud and windy.
