Yes that's the Holy Trinitiy of watch collection. Google search "The Holy Trinity of Watches" I could explain it but there are about 1,000 pages of watch experts on google with blogs about the historical significance on the Holy Trinity. If you clicked in here you are probably a collector of sorts or at least have some interest in watch collecting. I think it might be fun for you to search Holy Trinity of watches and spend some time reading while listening to Red Bud on the TV. If you want a more direct answer, they are 3 of the most historical and significant brands in all of watch making, others include Brequet, Blancpain and Grand Seiko. Vacheron is the oldest brand in continuous operation, AP has had some great innovations over the years and Patek, has been family owned and made some amazing complicated pieces.... Have fun reading on the Holy Trinity and please feel free to ask questions here

I have an interest in all things mechanical, watches being one of the more recent though so I don't know all that much. Sounds like I have some reading to do.

A quick read reveals that the "Holy Trinity" refers to three watch manufacturers which have been around a LONG TIME, although Beretta still has them beat.

Interesting stuff for sure Critter, thanks for the info......now back to reading.

Yes I did not want to seem like a dick for not answering your questions, but I know if you google it there waaayyy more watch intelligent people than me that can explain it better and give you a much better ready.... Speaking of Berretta, do you know the significance of the Husqvarna Motorcycle logo?

More stuff I did not know. Husqvarna was a firearms manufacturer, and their logo is a "stylized gun sight" I love it!

    Copied from Wiki:
The iconic Husqvarna motorcycle logo is not a crown or a letter "H", but rather a stylized, front-facing gun sight.
It honors the brand's origins as a weapons foundry established in 1689 by command of the Swedish King.
The circular emblem represents the gun barrel, while the V-shaped details on the sides represent the classic sight elements.
Today, the brand uses this historic symbol to represent "keeping the future in sight" while staying grounded in their centuries-old legacy.

I was eye balling your set of leathers but decided to leave you alone because they weren’t a two piece suit.
I also needed an ass for them. I wanted to wear them like one of those two piece horse suits to wear on stage to tell dad jokes.Ya’ big ass Sasquatch mofo! :D

Really, I’m weird with what I like and I’m not calling out models. I might go FP Journe, a Patek and Rolex.

If you were asking me what I’d be happy with right now I’d say either an Omega planet ocean or a speed master, a Rolex pepsi steel bezel, a Panera 40mm gmt and if I was still traveling a lot a big pilot and if not a pilot chrono. That’s four but close enough. :)

I think I’ve said it before and nothing against them if others do I just DO NOT like APs.

I agree with maybe your FP and Patek choices, Rolex is just a marketing thing.... I did not like the AP stuff until I put one on my wrist and the price was 10K below market....That kind of price would put on my wrist for a while.

I think my top ones would be in no particular order

    Patek
    AP
    Vacheron
    Brequet
    Grand Seiko
    FP
