The Black just catfished everyone and had a "store closing" sale. Then they reopened in a week. Half the size, though. I like it. It's kind of a time machine.

All of them seem to be thriving, fortunately. Covid caused a lot of turnover on Newport, and most wasn't good.

 

This made it home today, I am terrible at photos and I need to get time to properly set it, but it was a full set with pusher and not worn.

 

From the news reports I was waaaay off on how the AP swatch turd was gonna sell.

 

There were fights over the things...
$800 - $900 on ebay right now.
Looks like some clever folks have created a case (crown at 12 and crown at 3) for them.
So you can have your AP..

 

But I don’t want an AP.
I don’t think highly of them and would rather get a Panerai, an IWC or an omega or all three.

 

Royal Oaks are cool but if I'm spending AP money I'll take a Langematik.

 

AP makes some gorgeous watches and gorgeous movements but, I don’t like them.

Im with you. I dont own enough Affliction shirts or bedazzled designer jeans to wear an AP....and Im OK with that

 

Add in to that a Lamborghini you lease with 3 other dudes and a haze of cologne that follows you and you can apply for a Hublot.

There is a new racing museum at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, called M24. Former winners of the 24 Hours as well as other notable WEC cars, F1 cars, rally cars, Indy cars, Probably some motorcycles, as I saw them roll a Repsol RCV 21x in there. Reason I'm bringing this up is that out of 120 cars on display, 80 were supplied Richard Mille. That man loves racing.
