Air Fryers - I don't understand

Fuck these air fryers

I will tell yall I love my rice cooker. You load in the rice and water, hit a button, and it does the rest. No more watching a pot for 20 minutes making sure the temp is right. The rice comes out perfectly every time. Shoulda spent this $25 a long time ago.

I replaced ours with an instapot hoping for a multi use item - it's okay for pressure cooking but sucks at rice. Need to buy a new rice cooker.

Y'all mf's will derail absolutely any topic in a thread

I don't care bout your gotdang rice I'm trying to understand Air Fryers gatdangit! :rtfrb:

The Spanish rice that I have learned to cook wouldn't work in a rice cooker or Insta Pot.

The rice to liquid ratio is the same (1:2) but I add a can of Rotel to the water to make 2 cups.

Butter in a skillet to brown the rice slightly. Sprinkle on some Knorr "Tomato Bouillon w/ Chicken" as it's browning.

Add the water/Rotel mix, stir and cover for 20 minutes. Voila! :)

I do basically the same but with cooked rice. Occasionally add some corn and usually a bit of tomato sauce as well. And some garlic powder, and cumin, and if I feel like the prep, some diced onion
