Roczen dominates in Argentina WSX round one over J. Coop, Deegan, Craig and Anderson. Anstie equally strong over McElrath and Schock. Anyone heard if Mookie and R.J. are back with Husky for '26? I haven't heard them mentioned, though with new bike announcements Husky P.R's are always released several days following KTM's.
I'm quite certain RJ and Malcolm are back with Husky, but now that you mentioned it not sure I have seen an official release.
Did Eli's tire go flat in race 2? I'm suspecting Jason Anderson experienced some sort of mechanical issue after the start in the final race. Eli certainly didn't look comfortable in the final two races. Kenny sure was in control on the slick track though.
I think Eli was having a ton of issues with the scoop tire on that track. The KTM team manager just said they had some issues to work out. KTM has had a ton of issues with the rear shock in the past year, so it could be something related to that, too.
The little bit I've watched since his debut on the KTM, he's looked like he's struggling with the rear, especially in the whoops. I'm sure with their resources and his work ethic, they'll get it sorted.
Having said that, the guard has changed and I don't think Eli, or anyone else, has anything for Jett. I just hope Jett stays healthy long enough to put the smack down on Deegan for a few years.
Who's your pick, now that Jett is out for the '26 SX championship? I've got Eli, Hunter, Chase, Webb and Kenny at the top of my fantasy picks at this point. Hunter has as much to prove as any of the rest of these guys. Looking to be a great season. https://racerxonline.com/2025/12/20/jett-lawrence-injured-in-training-crash
@Senna I hope you are wrong as well. I feel Eli, Coop and Hunter will have better bike settings than Chase will have early in the season. Chase seems to be always searching for a better set-up, it seems to me. Kenny is never to be ignored, as well.
Yeah I saw that. I'm not sure. We're big Eli fans at our house, but I haven't kept up with much of it lately. It's tough to gauge when the top guys are split into different series' across the globe. Everyone seems to look good for the most part. If not Eli, I'd like to see Webb take it. Nothing against the others, but he seems like a good family man. Your picks are solid though.
I see him getting into the top five regularly, with an occasional podium. He's never discussed his health issues from last year and I can't help but believe his fitness may not be 100% yet.
I’d love to see it but wouldn’t place money down on a bet that it will happen. Always thought highly of him,
See post 30, that is what started this latest round of posts, speculation. I think they need to start re-thinking what they are doing at "The Dog Pound". That is two that are out for the SX season at a minimum. Shimoda went down with a neck injury, and now Jett. Both were injured at the same track. Yes, I understand you need to train and push yourself but, having a track, and obstacles that are setting the racers up for failure, injury, or worse, is not a good business/training model. Ski
With Chance Hymas still recovering from his injury, Team Honda has just one healthy rider as the SX season approaches. They may need to also reconsider their 'no fill in rider' stance.
