Up for grabs is a 1st-generation 1999 SV650 track bike. It is currently in rough, non-running shape and has been sitting for several years. I started to look into parting it out, so the controls are currently unbolted, but everything goes together in one shot. I am not parting this out piece-by-piece—bring a truck/trailer and take it all. I bought this bike way back and got to ride it once at NHMS. (spoiler alert: My day ended early with a crash) After that I fixed it up with some nice parts from Woodcraft and had it checked at CompuTrack and all was good. Then it developed a clutch issue and by that time I had a new bike I was worried about. It has sat since with the intention of getting it going or parting it out. Details: Woodcraft rear-sets, clip-ons and covers. Vortex sprocket New Chain-but rusty now... New Grips Computrack Dialed in and Straight. Needs: Carbs cleaned A new tank (Holds gas but really beat up.) (Has a nice racing cap you can reuse) ignition switch adjusted (it is keyless) Clutch adjusted This is a 99 Sv650 frame and motor. Early 00's GXR front end New Springs Ohlins Shock in rear The Good Stuff Included: Ohlins Rear Shock Woodcraft Rearsets Woodcraft Clip-ons Extra Set of Wheels (current rain tire setup) - will need new tires (old) Clean Title (I have a title and bill of sale from the last owner) The Condition: The engine has not been started in a few years and will need the standard storage revival. The clip-ons and foot controls are currently uninstalled but are included with the bike. Logistics: Must take everything. I will not sell the shock or wheels separately. Great price on a 1G. I reallly don’t need a 3rd SV and I’m on the left coast but after watching Sam (TWF/LWT) upload another 1G video it’s got the heart pumping for another one lmao. Someone please buy this and sort it out. This would be an easy weekend from the looks of it!
