I have for sale a 1994 Honda RVF400R. I purchased this bike from ICONIC for $8K (These are Grey market imports and not readily licensed for the street). It could be done but as is this is setup for racing. After receiving from Iconic I shipped it to GForce in California as Mike Norman there is a very competent tuner for these machines. I had him rebuild the engine with and .002 overbore, new pistons, rods & bearings etc. This is essentially a new engine. Price for engine work was $12K and it is pulling 65RWHP with 30FTLB of torque at 13K RPM. I also had Mike sort through the carburetors with a rebuild. He put on a new Penske shock on the rear. He rebuilt the forks and the brakes as well. This machine is well sorted, and I have $25K into it with the work and the shipping. No sooner had I acquired this dream machine and hoped to run it as a track day coaching bike then disaster struck. I crashed hard at Pitt Race and will be selling this bike, my 14' trailer, my two Moto3 bikes etc. I am looking for $20K for this bike but will entertain a reasonable offer Including a possible partial trade, (money on your end), for a 2024/2025 KTM 4 stroke dirt bike or a Kramer 690R of equal value. Here is a picture of the bike and I can get more for a serious buyer. This bike is located just outside of Chicago.
Gorgeous RVF! I have always loved these and dreamed of owning one, but I am with borislav, looking for that winning lottery ticket. Sorry to hear about your crash. I hope you are recovering well, or well enough you can still enjoy riding. If you are ever down south and make your way to PTC, and still have it, I would love to put eyes on this beaut. I have done every event there on a 300, 400 and even rode 660's, ZX4's, etc. for sessions there. Amazing small bike track.
Polecat Training Center in Lynchburg, TN. https://www.ptcdriving.com/ Evolve GT is the only group that goes there. Very technical with lots of elevation changes.
